British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors

The BCACC is an Association of now over 10 000 members that are registered in BC but can practice across Canada. With BC Governmental approval in July 2024 the BCACC received approval to form the College of Psychotherapists of BC.

This is an exciting step to implement the appropriate measures to keep clients safe with a robust complaints process and guarantee that practitioners continue their competency.

I have been a member in good standing with the BCACC since 2016. I have been able to attend many Seminars and Conferences provided by the BCACC. I am very much looking forward to the formation of the College of Psychotherapists to continue my training. I very much enjoy learning new interventions and systems to work better with clients and their families. I very much enjoy networking and meeting other Clinical Counsellors in practice.
